Hearts of Stone is the first expansion pack for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I joined the project at the beginning of the development process to help shape the new gameplay area added to the Velen landmass. My work was largely focused on the eastern half of the added expansion area.
My primary responsibilities for the expansion were:
- Location design and blockout
- Initial art and lighting passes
- Final Art and polish passes
- Environment models and texture creation
I was responsible for a most of the areas I worked on in Hearts of Stone through the whole process from initial blockout to final polish. The end result though is a collaborative effort made possible by the talented people I worked alongside.
