Hand Painted Fantasy Graveyard - Marmoset Scene

2011

A project I worked on with the aim of checking off a number of new skills such as sculpting and the hand painted textures style. It was also my first time working in a fantasy theme. I found the project extremely interesting, even if it was challenging at times. The new skills I learnt have already proved valuable in my other work.

Black Mesa - Source Engine Modification

2D and 3D artist. 2007 - Present

I joined the Black Mesa team at the very beginning of 2007 in January. My initial role on the team was as a texture artist, but since then texture work has been largely completed and I have helped out in other areas. Currently I most often work creating and skinning props for the level designers to use in their environments, as well as working with Valves Particle Editor to create particle effects.

Roman Chichester - University Work

Lead Environemnt Artist. 2010 - 2011

This was a group project in my final year of University where we were tasked with creating a Visualisation of Chichester city as it appeared during the Roman era.
My role in the team was as Lead Environment Artist, but as we didn't have an overall Lead Artist I had a more general Lead Role.
I was responsible for setting project guidelines, creating asset pipelines and managing a team of 13 other Artists. I created a large number of modular assets for the project.

Since the conclusion of the project and my graduation I have been improving and recreating assets as well as making new assets for a UDK scene.
